Endemic Location: Costa Rica 

Adult Size: Approximately 4”-5”

Lifespan:  4-5 years for males and up to 20 years for females. 

Experience Level: Beginner

Info: This is a generally docile species making it a great choice for beginners.  This species is considered terrestrial but does like to burrow.  So while setting up their new home please provide adequate substrate for them to make a new burrow.
