Common Name: Costa Rican Stripe Knee

Classification: New World Terrestrial

Endemic Location: Western Costa Rica and Parts of Central America

Adult Size: Approximately 4"-5"

Lifespan:  5 years for males and 20 years for females. 

Experience Level: Beginner

Info:  This species has slow to medium growth rate.  While some people would consider this a docile species, I have found they can be a little more temperamental.  As babies they like to burrow but make excellent display pets with their stunning blue coloration as adults.
