Endemic Location: Kigoma region of Tanzania 

Adult Size: Approximately 5"-6"

Lifespan: 4-5 years for males and 15-20 years for females.

Info: This is a defensive and unpredictable species.  This is the dark color form of the OBT tarantula and requires a terrestrial setup with deep substrate.  These tarantula are heavy and impressive webbers however, they are not recommended for beginners.
