Classification: Old World Terrestrial/Opportunistic Burrower

Endemic Location: Socotra Island off the coast of Yemen

Adult Size: Approximately 7"

Lifespan:  3-4 years for males and 12-14 years for females. 

Experience Level: Intermediate 

Info: This is a slow growing species This is only of the only true communal species and they are even known to share food with one another.  For an old world species they are fairly calm but can be defensive if provoked.
