Endemic Location: Southern State of Bahia, Brazil

Adult Size: Approximately 4.5"-5.5"

Lifespan:  3-4 years for males and 12-14 years for females. 

Experience Level: Intermediate

Info: This is a medium growth rate, fast, and skittish species.  They can be a bit temperamental in their care needs therefore this species in not recommended for beginners.  This species is considered to be just as stunning as the Brazilian Jewel Tarantula.
