Endemic Location:  Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa

Adult Size: Approximately 4"-5"

Lifespan: 4-5 years for males and 15+ years for females.

Info: This species is known for its distinctive horn like structure on its carapace.  This species requires a terrestrial setup with deep, dry burrowing substrate.  They are heavy webbers and have a strong feeding response.  These aren’t recommended for beginners to the hobby, however, if you aren’t new to the hobby an looking for a great beginner species of old world these are a perfect fit.
